Attention! The director may reject an entry by one or more of
the following reasons (click to show/hide the list)
- unsoundness: illegal position, no solution, cook (including short solution);
- the presence of idle white officers in mate position of any phase, except for the so-called thematic non-participation;
- the presence of superfluous units;
- complete anticipation (including self-anticipated works);
- previous publication of the same problem in some other source (including a web-publication);
- obvious symmetry in the play;
- too simple, nonconceptual or quite heterogeneous play in phases;
- very crude play (abundance of unjustified captures);
- the presence of several unnecessary (accidental) repeated moves;
- not optimal construction;
- the lack of improvement of well-known ideas which have been successfully realized earlier;
- unsatisfactory twin form

- наличие в задаче лишних фигур (пешек), без которых задача корректна и авторский замысел не нарушается;
- полный предшественник (в том числе и самопредшественник);
- более ранняя публикация присланной задачи в каком-либо другом источнике, включая веб-публикацию;
- явная симметрия в игре;
- слишком простая, безыдейная или явно неоднородная игра сторон в фазах;
- очень грубая игра (изобилие неоправданных взятий);
- наличие нескольких случайно повторяющихся ходов;
- неоправданно громоздкая конструкция, не соответствующая содержанию задачи;
- недостаточное улучшение какой-либо известной идеи, успешно реализованной ранее;
- неудовлетворительная форма близнецов
