Станично-Луганского района Луганской области. После окончания Ольховской
средней школы поступил на механико-математический факультет Харьковского
государственного университета им. А.Горького. Окончил его в Играть в шахматы начал с 7 лет, научил играть отец.

конкурсе по решению шахматных композиций в местной областной газете «Ворошиловградская
