Tode Ilevski (1952-2022) Macedonia. He was born on March 7, 1952 in the village of Mramorets in Debrka. Died January 29, 2022 Published about 450 chess problems in a number of specialized chess magazines in 20 countries. It is featured in the Anthology of Macedonian Problem Chess and in the FIDE Album. He graduated from high school in Ohrid and the Faculty of Philology in Skopje. Poet, writer for children and youth, satirist, humorist, translator, enigmatist and chess player. Author of the books "Clean Sail", "Concert for the Forests", "Springs in the Mountains", "Green Blossom", "Hunting on Swan Lake", "Private Libraries in Ohrid and the Ohrid Region", co-author with Violeta Martinovskaya, as well as "Lipov Tea", poems "The Poet's Daughter" and "Nuts of Riddles". He was a member of the editorial boards of the magazines "Southern Wave", "Spizalit" and "Radosna West". Some of his poems have been translated into other languages, and he himself translated works from Slavic languages. He published over nine thousand cryptic compositions, mostly anagrams, palindromes and puzzles. Most of them were published in "Kotelets", and a smaller part - in Croatian and Serbian mystery magazines. He is present in the Dictionary of Yugoslavian Enigmatists and has published articles in many journals. He made his debut in 1967, published more than 1300 problems, of which about 450 were awarded. |
